Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, August 2022

In August 2022, the import value reached US$21,150.6 million, an increase of US$805.6 million (3.77 percent) compared to the previous month. Likewise, import volume increased by US$1,218.4 million (8.07 percent). The import value consisted of oil and gas imports of US$3,701.4 million (16.71 percent) and non-oil and gas imports of US$18,449.2 million (9.23 percent). Imports from January to August 2022 were dominated by China USD44,860.6 million (28.10 percent), followed by Singapore USD13,350.3 million (8.36 percent), and Japan USD11,441.0 million (7.17 percent). Meanwhile, the loading port in DKI Jakarta Province is still the main loading point for imported goods in Indonesia with a portion of 45.37 percent (USD72,442.0 million).
