Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, July 2022

In July 2022 the value of imports reached US$21,345.0 million, an increase of US$341.1 million (1.62 percent) compared to the previous month. On the other hand, import volume fell 4.69 percent (742.9 thousand tons) to 15,106.3 thousand tons. The import value in July 2022 consisted of oil and gas imports of US$4,455.3 million (20.87 percent) and non-oil and gas imports of US$16,889.7 million (79.13 percent). Imports January-July 2022 were dominated by China USD38,264.4 million (27.82 percent), followed by Singapore USD11,777.4 million (8.56 percent), and Japan USD9,916.9 million (7.21 percent). Meanwhile, the loading port in DKI Jakarta is still the main loading point for imported goods with a portion of 45.25 percent (USD 62,229.1 million)
