Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, July 2021

In July 2021 the value of imports reached USD 15,114.5 million, down 12.22 percent (USD2,103.9 million) compared to the previous month. Similarly, the volume fell 14.03 percent to 13,490,2 thousand tons. The import value in July 2021 consisted of oil and gas USD1,785.9 million (11.82 percent) and non-oil and gas USD13,328.6 million (88.18 percent). Imports in July 2021 were dominated by three main origin countries, namely China USD 30,071.9 million (28.33 percent), followed by Singapore USD 8,686.0 million (8.18 percent), and Japan USD 7,708.6 million (7.26 percent). Meanwhile, the loading port in DKI Jakarta is still the main loading point for imported goods in Indonesia with a portion of 49.23 percent (USD52,255.3 million).
