Statistics Indonesia (BPS) has honored its work units that achieved the Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) status and demonstrated exemplary implementation of Government Performance Accountability (AKIP) 2024. The awards were presented during a ceremony in Palembang on January 22, marking BPS’s commitment to integrity and governance excellence.

A total of 32 work units were granted WBK status, as stipulated in an official decree from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB) on November 27, 2024. Additionally, based on BPS Chief’s Decree No. 845 of 2024, five work units were recognized as the best performers in AKIP implementation, representing central, provincial, and district/city levels. The awards were presented by BPS senior officials.

Leading the Best AKIP Implementation 2024 rankings, Inspectorate Region I secured the top position at the central level for its strong commitment to performance accountability and institutional governance. At the provincial level, BPS of Central Kalimantan was recognized for its outstanding implementation of government performance measures, reflecting a high standard of operational efficiency. Meanwhile, at the district/city level, BPS of Kapuas Regency earned the top spot for its excellence in upholding transparency and accountability in local statistical operations. These achievements highlight BPS's ongoing efforts to foster a culture of integrity and enhance public service quality across all levels of government.
