Statistics Indonesia (BPS) has earned the highest compliance rating for public service delivery in the 2024 Public Service Compliance Assessment, conducted by Indonesia's Ombudsman. The results were announced at an awards ceremony held at the Le Meridien Hotel in Jakarta on 14 November.
BPS achieved an impressive score of 94.99, placing it at the top of the rankings in the agency category. Pudji Ismartini, Deputy Chief Statistician for Distribution and Services Statistics of BPS, accepted the award on behalf of the agency. Of the 14 agencies evaluated, 11 were rated in the Green Zone, indicating top-level compliance, while 3 were placed in the Yellow Zone.
In his address, Ombudsman Chairman Mokhammad Najih noted a positive trend in the 2024 assessment, with a significant increase in the number of service providers achieving the highest ratings compared to the previous year. "The results reflect a national improvement, with more agencies in the Green Zone and fewer in the Yellow and Red Zones," he said. Najih urged all public service providers to continue upholding and improving their compliance standards, stating that the award serves not only as recognition of achievements but also as motivation to maintain high-quality services.
