Congratulations to 18 BPS Satker Wins Corruption-Free Predicate

Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Ministry of PANRB) Ministry of PANRB gave an Appreciation and Award of Integrity Zone Towards WBK and WBBM 2021 today (20/12). A total of 17 work units (satker) for the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) won the title of Corruption Free Area (WBK), while 1 satker, namely BPS East Java Province, won the title of Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Region (WBBM).
The Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, KH. Ma'ruf Amin in his directive said that the WBK/WBBM achievement symbolized the work unit's commitment to become an icon of service as well as clean and free from corruption. “The commitment to eradicating corruption does not stop at ceremonial or administrative matters. The road map for bureaucratic reform, WTP, Integrity Pact, and WBK/WBBM Awards must all be manifested in the organizational work culture and excellent public services," explained Ma'ruf.
In his speech, Tjahjo Kumolo, Minister of PAN RB explained that the concept of bureaucratic reform is a catalyst for realizing good and clean governance to support national development. "Good and clean governance is the catalyst for a clean and accountable bureaucracy, a capable bureaucracy, and excellent public services," he said. The recipients of the Integrity Zone Towards WBK/WBBM are expected to become a role model for Tjahjo to voice improvements in governance to other work units and services.
In the appreciation and awarding event, the Ministry of PANRB also determined 10 leaders of change who encouraged the spirit of Integrity Zone development within their agencies. Head of BPS, Margo Yuwono is one of the winners of the 2021 Change Leader award.
