The festival which was held for the fourth time is a collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and the Kepulauan Riau Provincial Government (Kepri) in the framework of the anniversary of the Kepulauan Riau Province.
Various events were held such as traditional competitions, SME product exhibitions and the creative economy, grand tabligh, art performances, entertainment stages, and other interesting activities. A distinctive feature of the Kepulauan Riau Festival Bahari is the Yacht Rally Event which is participated by various countries.
The opening was held on Tuesday night (5/11) at the Regional Building of the Kepulauan Riau Province. The 2020 Population Census (SP2020) was present at the opening in the form of an SP2020 highlight video screening and the presentation of placards from the Head of BPS's Public Relations and Legal Bureau, Endang Retno Sri Subiyandani representing the Head of BPS RI to the Deputy Governor of the Kepulauan Riau.
