Abstract

Transportation plays an important role in supporting trade distribution activities. In the International Merchandise Trade Statistics (IMTS), it is recommended for compiler countries to present data on exports and imports of goods based on transportation mode at the most detailed commodity level. In 2023, as many as 90.66 percent of Indonesia's imported goods will enter via sea transportation. Indonesia's import activities until 2023 will still depend on the main ports on the island of Java, especially the Port of Tanjung Priok which unloads imported goods worth US$ 82,894.1 million (37.36 percent)
