In April 2024, the import value reached US$16,895.6 million, down US$1,065.5 million (5.93 percent) compared to the previous month. Likewise, import volume fell 4.68 percent to 17,212.4 thousand tons. The April 2024 import value consists of oil and gas imports of US$2,984.3 million (17.66 percent) and non-oil and gas imports of US$13,911.3 million (82.34 percent) Imports in April 2024 were dominated by China at USD21,343.9 million, with a role of 29.73 percent. Meanwhile, the unloading port in DKI Jakarta Province is still the main unloading place for imported goods in Indonesia worth USD 31,135.8 million (43.37 percent).
