Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, April 2021

In April 2021 the value of imports reached USD16,204.3 million, down 3.47 percent (USD583.2 million) compared to the previous month. Likewise, the volume fell 39.61 percent to 15,359.3 thousand tons. The import value in April 2021 consisted of oil and gas USD2,023.4 million (12.49 percent) and non-oil and gas USD14,180.9 million (87.51 percent). Imports in April 2021 were dominated by three main origin countries, namely China USD 16,780.8 million (28.16 percent), followed by Singapore USD 4,861.6 million (8.16 percent), and Japan USD 4,375.4 million (7.34 percent). Meanwhile, the loading port in DKI Jakarta is still the main loading point for imported goods in Indonesia with a portion of 49.83 percent (USD 29,691.4 million).
