Gender Inequality Index 2022

The presence of this book is motivated by the problem of gender inequality in Indonesia. Policies that seek to reduce gender gaps or to achieve gender equality require strong data and measures. One indicator that can see gender gaps is the Gender Inequality Index (IKG). IKG refers to the methodology used by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). in compiling the 2010 Gender Inequality Index (GII) by adjusting available data. IKG only focuses on measuring the achievement gap between women and men in three dimensions, namely reproductive health, empowerment and the labor market.
