Abstract

Construction Cost Index (IKK) is a price index that describes a regency/municipality construction cost compared to the reference region. The 2021 IKK reference region is Makassar Municipality, shifting from Semarang Municipality as the 2018-2020 IKK reference region. Data is obtained from the Construction Cost Survey (SHKK), including building/construction materials, heavy equipment rental, and construction labour wages. The survey is implemented in all regencies and municipalities in Indonesia. The index is calculated based on data from quarter III (July) and IV (October) of 2020, quarter I (January) and II (April) of 2021. Weight of Construction Cost Index uses data from price per unit of analysis book by Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Bill of Quantity (BoQ), and realization of the State Budget. The 2021 IKK is one of the components used to calculate the General Allocation Fund in 2022.
