Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, March 2021

In March 2021, the import value reached USD16,787.5 million, an increase of 26.55 percent (USD3,522.5 million) compared to the previous month. Likewise, the volume rose 39.61 percent to 17,281.3 thousand tons. The import value in March 2021 consists of oil and gas USD2,279.1 million (13.58 percent) and non-oil and gas USD14,508.4 million (86.42 percent). Imports in March 2021 were dominated by three main countries of origin, namely China USD12,210.6 million (28.15 percent), followed by Singapore USD3,543.0 million (8.17 percent), and Japan USD2,278.5 million (5.25 percent). Meanwhile, the loading port in DKI Jakarta Province is still the main loading point for imported goods in Indonesia with a share of 50.02 percent (USD21,701.6 million).
