Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, March 2023

In March 2023 the import value reached US$20,588.1 million, an increase of US$4,668.9 million (29.33 percent) compared to the previous month. Likewise, the volume of imports rose to US$17,338.5 million (29.80 percent). The March 2023 import value consisted of oil and gas imports of US$3,014.8 million (1.85 percent) and non-oil and gas imports of US$17,573.3 million (85.36 percent) Imports from January to March 2023 are dominated by China at USD 15,336.6 million (27.91 percent), followed by Japan at USD 4,295.5 million (7.82 percent), and Singapore at USD 4,039.9 million (7.35 percent). The unloading port in DKI Jakarta Province is still the main unloading place for imported goods in Indonesia worth USD 26,047.4 million (47.40 percent).
