Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, March 2022

In March 2022 the value of imports reached US$21,962.4 million, an increase of US$5,323.9 million (32.00 percent) compared to the previous month. Likewise, the volume rose 31.13 percent (4,247.1 thousand tons) to 17,890.9 thousand tons. The import value in March 2022 consisted of oil and gas imports of US$3,492.2 million (15.90 percent) and non-oil and gas imports of US$18,974.2 million (84.10 percent). Imports from January to March 2022 were dominated by three main origin countries, namely China USD 15,902.8 million (27.99 percent), followed by Singapore USD 4,577.6 million (8.06 percent) and Japan USD 4,290.6 million (7.55 percent). Meanwhile, the loading port in DKI Jakarta is still the main loading point for imported goods in Indonesia
