Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports April 2020

In April 2020 the value of imports reached USD12,535.2 million, down 6.12 percent (USD817.0 million) compared to the previous month. But the volume increased 4.29 percent to 15,051.0 thousand tons. The April 2020 import value consisted of oil and gas imports of USD 854.3 million (6.82 percent) and non-oil and gas USD 11,680.9 million (93.18 percent).
The three main countries of origin of imports from January to April 2020 were occupied by China at USD 12,867.8 million (24.89 percent), followed by Japan at USD 4,835.9 million (9.35 percent), and Singapore at USD 4,760.4 million ( 9.21 percent). While the unloading ports in the DKI Jakarta Province are still the main unloading places for imported goods in Indonesia with a portion of 51.34 percent (USD26,542.4 million).
