Gender Development Index 2014

Gender Development Index (GDI) is one measure of the success rate of the development gains already accommodate gender issues. GDI is a measure of human development which is a composite of four indicators, which emphasizes the status of women, especially in measuring basic skills. This publication aims to provide information about the development that already uses the concept of gender which includes the achievement of quality of life for all residents which include health, education, and economic achievement figures reflected from GDI. Besides, it also presents the GDI achievement at provincial and district levels as well as disparity.
