Abstract

The value of Indonesian exports in October 2002 increased 4.31 per cent over September 2001, reached US$ 5,32 billion. This is the highest monthly figure ever reached during the last two years.
The value of Indonesian imports in October 2002 was US$ 3.15 billion, anincrease of 8.60 per cent compared to July 2002 imports (US$ 2.90 billion). ForJanuary-October 2002 period, the import value still decreased by 4.84 per centover the same period in 2001 (from US$ 26.76 billion to US$ 25.46 billion).
