Abstract

The value of Indonesian exports in August 2002 reached US$ 4,90 billion ordeclined by 2.27% over July 2002 exports (US$ 5.01 billion). However, incumulative January ? August 2002 period, the exports declined by 5.06%compared to the same period last year (from US$ 39,34 billion to US$ 37.35billion).
The value of Indonesian exports in August 2002 was US$ 2.82 billion, anincrease of 8.54% compared to July 2002 exports (US$ 2.60 billion). ForJanuary-August 2002 period, the import values decreased by 14.05% over thesame period in 2001 (from US$ 22.55 billion to US$ 19.38 billion).
