Abstract

Statistical Data Stories for Indonesia is a collection of articles known as CERDAS, which utilizes innovative data sources and official statistics to provide ideas related to socio-economic issues. In this edition, the Directorate of Statistical Analysis and Development collaborated with the Directorate of Population and Employment Statistics to prepare an article raising the issue of Indonesia's Sustainable Development Goals (TPB), especially regarding migrant workers. This article discusses several problems faced by Indonesian migrant workers related to worker legality, recruitment cost indicators (RCI) and the mismatch between skills and work undertaken (skill mismatch). We hope that this booklet can capture the essence of each statistical value, and make these stories inspire us to create better change for Indonesia's future, especially in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
