Statistical Data Stories for Indonesia is a collection of articles known as CERDAS, which utilizes innovative data sources and official statistics to provide ideas related to socio-economic issues. In this edition, the Directorate of Statistical Analysis and Development has prepared two articles related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially regarding gender equality. The first article discuss youth who do not attend school, pursue skills or work according to gender. Meanwhile, the second article discusses whether women's representation in parliament can bring progress to the nation. We hope that this booklet can capture the essence of each statistical value, and make these stories inspire us to create better change for Indonesia's future, especially in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
