Population and Labor Mobility Statistics 2024

The Publication of Statistics on Population and Labor Mobility 2024 introduces groundbreaking innovations by incorporating international refugee data from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and commuter data based on Mobile Positioning Data (MPD) from PT. Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel). This publication presents a comprehensive overview of the dynamics of population and labor mobility in Indonesia. Data is compiled from population surveys conducted by Statistics Indonesia (BPS), namely the National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) and the National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS). Additional data is sourced from various stakeholders, including the Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration, Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Board, and PT.
