Abstract

The challenges caused by population aging have covered almost every aspect of life. Therefore, BPS tries to accommodate the need for concrete and comprehensive data on aging by presenting it in the form of the Statistics of Aging Population 2022 Publication. This publication provides macro information on demographic conditions, educational status, health conditions, economic potential, social conditions, and elderly access to various protection and empowerment facilities to improve their quality of life. The data used are sourced from the March 2022 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), the August 2022 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), and supplemented with secondary data from Ministries / Institutions.
