The Result of Business Activity Survey During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has been going on for more than a year and has been impacted social life and disrupted the economic conditions, including Indonesia. However, as the government tried to conduct new regulations regarding the recovery of the economy and adapt the new habits, Indonesia’s economy gradually recovers. The key recovery efforts in the economy can go through the transformation, implementing the correct/right strategies, and participation from all parties such as businessmen and government. To support that, the availability of data is the main key for that recovery program.Statistics Indonesia (BPS) tried to participate in providing data during the COVID-19 pandemic. Physical distancing become one of the challenges in collecting data. However, with innovation and utilizing technological advances, BPS tried to collect data through the online survey. The Business Activity Survey During the COVID-19 Pandemic as additional statistics conducted online is one kind of innovation.
