Abstract

ABSTRACTFishing Port is a place for fishing boats to dock, anchor and / or load and unload fish equipped with safety facilities for shipping and supporting fishery activities. In 2020 there are 578 fishing ports spread across all provinces in Indonesia. Aceh Province is a province with the largest number of fishing ports in Indonesia.Based on the port class, Indonesian fishing ports are divided into 4 classes / categories, namely class A or PPS fishing ports (7 ports), Class B or PPN fishing ports (16 ports), Class C or PPP fishing ports (45 ports), and fishing ports. Class D or PPI (510 ports). Compared to 2019, there is an increase in the number of type B and type C ports, 2 port for Type B and 17 ports for Type C. Of the 578 fishing ports in Indonesia, 69% of the ports have TPI. This number is more than the active TPI in 2019, namely 395 units. The increase in the number of active TPI in 2020 will affect the total production of fish sold through TPI this year. The production of fish sold through TPI this year increased by 2,92 percent compared to last year. The volume of sea catch sold through TPI in 2020 was 8 407 853,66 quintals from the previous 8 169 453,01 quintals.
