Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, June 2021

In June 2021 the value of imports reached USD17,218.4 million, an increase of 20.96 percent (USD2,983.6 million) compared to the previous month. Similarly, the volume rose 7.54 percent to 15,691.0 thousand tons. The import value in June 2021 consisted of oil and gas USD 2,297.8 million (13.35 percent) and non-oil and gas USD 14,920.6 million (86.65 percent). Imports in June 2021 were dominated by three main origin countries, namely China USD25,658.1 million (28.18 percent), followed by Singapore USD7,496.1 million (8.23%), and Japan USD6,575.6 million ( 7.22 percent). Meanwhile, the loading port in DKI Jakarta is still the main loading point for imported goods in Indonesia with a portion of 48.94 percent (USD 44,556.5 million).
