Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, January 2021

In January 2021, the import value reached USD13,329.9 million, down 7.68 percent (USD1,108.5 million) compared to the previous month. Likewise, the volume decreased by 14.69 percent to 13,078.3 thousand tons. The import value in January 2021 consisted of oil and gas USD1,551.8 million (11.64 percent) and non-oil and gas USD11,778.1 million (88.36 percent). Imports in January 2021 were dominated by three main countries of origin, namely China USD2,813.3 million (26.08 percent), followed by Singapore USD1,047.1 million (9.71 percent), and the United States USD734.8 million (6 , 81 percent). Meanwhile, the loading port in DKI Jakarta Province is still the main loading point for imported goods in Indonesia with a share of 52.11 percent (USD6,945.8 million).
