Abstract
In January 2018, the value of imports reached USD15,309.4 million, up 1.43 percent (USD216.0 million) compared to the previous month, but the volume fell 8.18 percent to 13,227.1 thousand tons. The import value of January 2018 consists of oil and gas imports USD2.259.2 million and nonmigas USD13.050.2 million with the role of 14.76 percent and 85.24 percent. Meanwhile, oil and gas import volume was recorded at 3,744.2 thousand tons (28.31 percent) and non-oil and gas 9,482.9 thousand tons (71.69 percent).
The total import value in January 2018, the main origin countries were occupied (24.75 percent), followed by Singapore (11.89 percent) and Japan (8.91 percent). While fruits are used for imported goods, the raw material / auxiliary class is still invested heavily in Indonesian imports with 74.90 percent role, followed by capital goods 16.20 percent, and consumer goods 8.90 percent.
Indonesian imports in January 2018 were 53.35 percent (8,166.9 million) dismantled in DKI Jakarta province. According to the SITC (International Standard Classification of Trade Class) 1 stamp, the main imported goods group during January 2018 was the machine and transportation group with a value of USD5,018.9 million (up 37.36 percent).
