Statistics of Business Characteristics 2020

Statistics of Business Characteristics 2020 publication is the result of the Business Characteristics Survey (BCS) 2020 conducted annually by BPS-Statistics Indonesia since 2019. The companies/businesses covered include 17 (seventeen) Large Medium Enterprises (UMB) categories/business fields, namely all business categories except A, O, T, and U, in 34 provinces and 212 regencies/cities in Indonesia.Sample was selected using systematic sampling method for non-cinema business sector and census for cinema companies/businesses. Data collection on respondents carried out by a combination of methods between interviews (both direct and indirect) and Computer Aided Web Interviewing (CAWI) which allowed respondents to fill out their own through the website. The survey was conducted on 8,300 target samples with 84.48 percent achievement of response rate. Business Characteristics Statistics 2020 provide information about Indonesia UMB businesses in 2019 which include general information, indicators of ICT access and use, indicators of innovation, indicators of Intellectual Property Rights, and indicators of cinema business.
