Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports September 2020

In September 2020 the import value reached USD11,570.1 million, an increase of 7.70 percent (USD827.7 million) compared to the previous month. Likewise, the volume increased by 8.81 percent to 12,883.2 thousand tons. The import value of September 2020 consists of oil and gas USD1,173.0 million (10.14 percent) and non-oil and gas USD10,397.1 million (89.86 percent).
The three main importing countries were occupied by China with USD28,461.0 million (27.45 percent), followed by Singapore with USD9,138.9 million (8.82 percent), and Japan with USD8,113.4 million (7.83 percent) . Meanwhile, the loading port in DKI Jakarta Province is still the main loading point for imported goods in Indonesia with a share of 50.75 percent (USD52,618.1 million).
