Abstract

ABSTRACTFishing Port is a place for fishing boats to dock, anchor and / or load and unload fish equipped with safety facilities for shipping and supporting fishery activities. In 2019, there are 576 fishing ports spread across all provinces in Indonesia. Aceh Province is a province with the largest number of fishing ports in Indonesia.Based on the port class, Indonesian fishing ports are divided into 4 classes / categories, namely class A or PPS fishing ports (8 ports), Class B or PPN fishing ports (14 ports), Class C or PPP fishing ports (28 ports), and fishing ports. Class D or PPI (526 ports). Compared to 2018, there is an increase in the number of type B and type D ports, 1 port for Type B and 5 ports for Type D. Of the 576 fishing ports in Indonesia, 69% of the ports have TPI. This number is less than the TPI that was active in 2018, namely 398 units. The decline in the number of active TPIs in 2019 does not affect the total production of fish sold through TPI this year. The production of fish sold through TPI this year increased by 1,13 percent compared to last year. The volume of sea catch sold through TPI in 2019 was 8.169.453 quintals from the previous 8.077.885 quintals.
