Regional Trade in Indonesia 2019

Regional trade has an important role in the economy. Regional trade can be interpreted as trade and distribution of goods from one province to another province in the same country. The availability and needs of commodities in each province are different and the fluctuations and disparities in the prices of staple goods between regions are quite high to be a driving factor for trade between regions.This publication briefly reviews the results of inter-regional trade research with the 2018 data year. The information presented is the purchase and sale between provinces in Indonesia along with a map of trade and the modes of transportation used. Hopefully, this publication is expected to be a reference for the development of a more efficient trading distribution system.
