Abstract

Fishery constitutes subsector under agriculture sector that plays an important role in Indonesia. In order to acknowledge its roles and potencies, complete and accurate data are very necessary, yet the availability of statistical data still very limited, whether that of types or its scope. BPS-Statistic Indonesia collects data of fish productions with approaching fish auction places (TPIs) at Fishing Port. Production data collected only covers marine fishery production was sold at TPI, whether in auction sale or not. Therefore, the data supplied have not covered all productions of marine fish in the whole region of Indonesia.
