Abstract

  • In November 2022, Indonesia's National Wholesale Price Index rose by 5.75 percent compared to November 2021 (year-on-year/y-on-y). The most significant change in the index is the Mining and Quarrying Sector, which increased by 10.36 percent.
  • The price change in November 2022 was contributed mainly by soya beans, shallots, oil palms, sands, filtered cigarettes with clove, diesel fuel, and petrol/gasoline.
  • The WPI change in November 2022 changed by 0.27 percent month to-month and 4.98 percent compared to December 2021 (year-to-date/ y-to-d).
  • The WPI Construction Materials in November 2022 rose by 7.08 percent year-on-year, partly due to increasing the prices of diesel fuel, cement, asphalt, sands, and stone for construction foundation.
