Abstract

EXPORT :
  • The value of Indonesia's exports in October 2021 reached US$22.03 billion, an increase of 6.89 percent compared to exports in September 2021. Compared to October 2020, the value of exports rose by 53.35 percent.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in October 2021 reached US$21.00 billion, up 6.75 percent compared to September 2021, and up 52.75 percent compared to non-oil and gas exports in October 2020.
  • Cumulatively, the value of Indonesia's exports from January to October 2021 reached US$186.32 billion, an increase of 41.80 percent over the same period in 2020. Likewise, non-oil and gas exports reached US$176.47 billion, an increase of 41.26 percent.
  • The largest increase in non-oil and gas exports from October 2021 to September 2021 occurred in mineral fuel commodities of US$823.3 million (26.59 percent), while the largest decline occurred in machinery and electrical equipment and parts by US$105.5 million (10.04 percent). ).
  • By sector, non-oil and gas exports from the processing industry from January to October 2021 rose 35.53 percent compared to the same period in 2020, as well as exports of agricultural products rose 5.17 percent and exports of mining and other products rose 87.70 percent.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export in October 2021 was to China at US$5.93 billion, followed by the United States at US$2.34 billion and Japan at US$1.41 billion, with the contribution of the three reaching 46.10 percent. Meanwhile, exports to ASEAN and the European Union (27 countries) amounted to US$3.55 billion and US$1.54 billion, respectively.
  • According to the province of origin, Indonesia's largest exports in January–October 2021 came from West Java with a value of US$27.60 billion (14.82 percent), followed by East Kalimantan with US$19.03 billion (10.21 percent) and East Java with US$18. .76 billion (10.07 percent) .

  • The value of Indonesia's imports in October 2021 reached US$16.29 billion, up 0.36 percent compared to September 2021 or up 51.06 percent compared to October 2020.
  • Oil and gas imports in October 2021 were worth US$1.90 billion, up 1.68 percent compared to September 2021 or up 75.94 percent compared to October 2020.
  • Non-oil and gas imports in October 2021 were valued at US$14.39 billion, up 0.19 percent compared to September 2021 or up 48.29 percent compared to October 2020.
  • The largest increase in imports of non-oil and gas goods in October 2021 compared to September 2021 was iron and steel at US$181.7 million (18.36 percent). Meanwhile, the biggest decline was pharmaceutical products at US$163.2 million (34.17 percent).
  • The three largest suppliers of non-oil and gas imports during January–October 2021 were China US$43.72 billion (32.06 percent), Japan US$11.79 billion (8.65 percent), and Thailand US$7.32 billion (5.36 percent). percent).   • Indonesia's trade balance in October 2021 experienced a surplus of US$5.73 billion, mainly from the non-oil and gas sector of US$6.60 billion. Meanwhile, in the oil and gas sector, there was a deficit of US$ 0.87 billion.
