Exports in February 2019 reached US $ 12.53 billion

Abstract

  • The value of Indonesian exports in February 2019 reached US $ 12.53 billion or decreased by 10.03 percent compared to exports in January 2019. Likewise, compared to February 2018 it decreased by 11.33 percent.
  • February 2019 non-oil and gas exports reached US $ 11.44 billion, down 9.85 percent compared to January 2019. Likewise compared to February 2018 non-oil and gas exports, down 10.19 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the value of Indonesian exports from January to February 2019 reached US $ 26.46 billion or decreased by 7.76 percent compared to the same period in 2018, as well as non-oil and gas exports reaching US $ 24, 14 billion or decreased 7.07 percent.
  • The largest decline in non-oil and gas exports in February 2019 against January 2019 occurred in mineral fuels amounting to US $ 282.1 million (14.54 percent), while the largest increase occurred in jewelry / gems of US $ 227.5 million (53.03 percent).
  • By sector, non-oil and gas exports from the processing industry from January to February 2019 fell by 5.96 percent compared to the same period in 2018, as well as mining and other exports down 13.33 percent, while agricultural product exports rose 4.65 percent.
  • The largest non-oil / gas export in February 2019 was to China, namely US $ 1.54 billion, followed by the United States US $ 1.27 billion and Japan US $ 1.03 billion, with the contribution of the three reaching 33, 59 percent. While exports to the European Union (28 countries) amounted to US $ 1.11 billion.
  • According to the province of origin, Indonesia's largest exports from January to February 2019 came from West Java with a value of US $ 4.90 billion (18.51 percent), followed by East Java US $ 3, 01 billion (11.38 percent) and East Kalimantan US $ 2.67 billion (10.08 percent).
