Abstract

The value of Indonesian exports in June 2003 exceeded value of US$ 5 billion again, that was US$ 5.28 billion, or increased by 7.33 per cent over the last month figure. Similarly, during semester I 2003, the cumulative value of Indonesian exports still experienced an increase of 10.53 per cent over the same period in last year, that was from US$ 27.46 billion to US$ 30.35 billion.
The value of Indonesian imports in June 2003 reached to US$ 2.43 billion, or dropped by 15.24 per cent compared to the figure in May 2003 as high as US$ 2.69 billion. The cumulative imports figure during first semester (Jan ? June 2003) shown an increase of 16.76 per cent over the same period in year 2002, that was from US$ 13.95 billion to US$ 16.29 billion.
