Abstract

The value of Indonesian exports in January 2003 increased 2.47 per cent to US$ 4.92 billion, over December 2002. Compared to January 2002 figure, it rose more sharply by 20.43 per cent.
The export values of non-oil and gas in January 2003 reached US$ 3.73 billion or increased by 2.73 per cent over the December 2002 figure, whilst comparing to January 2002 figure, it experienced an increase of 15.67 per cent
The highest share of non-oil and gas exports in January 2003 was particularly on machinery/electrical equipment, which reached to US$ 457.2 million, or 12.27 per cent of the total non-oil and gas exports.
