BPS Attends 2024 National Coordination Meeting on Governance

Bogor – Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, Acting Chief Statistician of BPS-Statistics Indonesia, participated in the 2024 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) on Central and Regional Government Governance, organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) in Sentul, Bogor, on November 7. Also in attendance were BPS Principal Secretary Imam Machdi, Deputy Chief Statistician for Distribution and Services Statistics Pudji Ismartini, and heads of BPS offices from across Indonesia.

The event was officially opened by President Prabowo Subianto, who highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts among decision-makers to transform Indonesia into a developed nation.
The meeting featured four panel discussions led by ministers and senior government officials from the Red and White Cabinet. Under the theme "Implementing Asta Cita Toward Indonesia Emas 2045," the discussions focused on improving governance efficiency and budget management for the next five years. Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian noted that the meeting aimed to address these critical issues to ensure a smooth and effective government administration.
The event concluded with a speech by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who reiterated the importance of removing sectoral egos between central and regional government agencies to achieve collective goals.
The 2024 Rakornas served as a key platform for reinforcing cooperation between the central and regional governments, paving the way for Indonesia’s continued progress toward its 2045 vision.
