Jakarta - Satu Data Indonesia (SDI) is a government program that aims to achieve the dream of the Indonesian nation to be data sovereign. With one data, there are also many benefits for Indonesia, one of which is helping in planning development that is right on target. President Joko Widodo has made Presidential Regulation Number 39 of 2019 concerning One Indonesian Data. One Data is something that must be achieved so that data becomes integrated for the benefit of this country.

As an implementation to realize SDI, the Regional Government of Jembrana Regency made a working visit to the Central Statistics Agency, Jakarta, Friday (28/01/2022). This visit was led directly by the Regent of Jembrana, I Nengah Tamba, and accompanied by the Regional Secretary of Jembrana Regency and the Head of the Jembrana Regency Communication and Information Office.

The presentation entitled "Jembrana One Data from the Village", Nengah explained clearly about the program, namely "The Golden Year of Jembrana 2026". There are several focuses in the program, including those related to the arrangement of the Gilimanuk port, Gilimanuk-Denpasar toll road, and the arrangement of various tourist areas such as the all-in-one circuit, Weaving House, TIKTOK area, and Paramount KBS. "Of course all of this is expected to be based on data," he said.

The group was received directly by the Head of BPS, Margo Yuwono and his deputies. Margo welcomed the arrival of the Regent of Jembrana. He explained that the data was indeed important. It is like the data is like a compass, it becomes the direction on the way to reach the destination. BPS will support the full team in realizing the One Indonesia Data in Jembrana. Margo appreciated the initiative of One Village Data in Jembrana Regency to be used as a national prototype in the village-level statistical development laboratory.

At the end of the discussion, Margo gave a message to the group from Jembrana that apart from realizing SDI, what is also important is that we must be able to read data. By understanding the data correctly, an accurate policy will be obtained. ( #HumasNews/RAF)
