Bandung - "Expense allowance is given to realize justice for civil servants in accordance with their respective task areas," said BPS Sestama, Adi Lumaksono when opening the Socialization of Regional Expense Index (IKW) at the Courtyard Hotel, Bandung, Sunday (11/24).
BPS in collaboration with Kemenpan RB, this year, built IKW for all regions of Indonesia.
IKW can describe the level of expensiveness of goods and services in a region. The aim is as a basis for calculating the cost of expensing benefits to civil servants based on the price index prevailing in their respective regions.
For example, the Jakarta IKW number is 1, while province A (IKW 0.8) and province B (IKW 2.3). For example again, employees in Jakarta receive an allowance of over one million rupiah, then in province A will get 800 thousand, province B will get 2.3 million rupiah.
Based on the president's direction, one of the priorities for work in the next five years is the development of skilled human resources.
The roadmap for ASN development in 2020-2024 is to realize world-class bureaucracy through Smart ASN. Its characteristics are having integrity, a high sense of nationalism, professionalism, having a global outlook, mastering IT and foreign languages, hospitality, networking and entrepreneurship.
