Simdasi, for SI and Quality DDA

Simdasi, for SI and Quality DDA

April 30, 2019 | Other Activities

Bandung - Indonesian Statistics (SI) and Regional In Numbers (DDA) publications are BPS-issued publications that are of interest and attention by the public. At the moment the publication is available at www.bps.go.id. BPS continues to strive to improve the quality of SI and DDA through the Integrated Statistical Data Management Information System (Simdasi). One of them is by holding 2019 Publication Coaching activities at Mercure Nexa Hotel, Bandung, (24/4).

"Statistics Indonesia (SI) and Regions in Numbers (DDA) present various types of data sourced from BPS and other agencies. Friends of the provincial BPS must maintain a commitment to collaboration with local agencies / agencies," said Director of BPS Statistics Dissemination, Adhi Wiriana. The activity, which lasted until April 27, 2019, was attended by the provincial BPS Head of Dissemination and Statistics Services Section throughout Indonesia.

SI publications and the DDA contain an overview of the geography and climate, governance, as well as the development of social, demographic and economic conditions in Indonesia. While Simdasi helps the department / data to enter data that will appear in the SI and DDA. Walidata is the Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) that has data and is responsible for the data entered into Simdasi. So that the inputted data needs to be uniform in the form of data display in SI and DDA.

The advantages of Simdasi besides being integrated, the data is interoperable, meaning that it can be directly used to exchange data between ministries / institutions and between districts / cities / provinces and nationally. Simdasi also shows the contribution of BPS in moving towards Satu Data Indonesia.
