BPS Receives Visit of the Guangxi Bureau of Statistics Delegation

Jakarta - BPS receives Chinese delegates from the Guangxi Bureau of Statistics (GBS). His arrival in the framework of the working visit of the "China-ASEAN Statistics Forum 2018" socialization which will be held on 12-13 September 2018, coincides with the cooperation relationship that has been running for 15 years between ASEAN countries and China.

The GBS delegation, led by Deputy Director General, Rican Shi, was received by the Head of the Public Relations and Legal Bureau of BPS, Dwi Retno Wilujeng Wahyu Utami. One of the things discussed is the need to develop training related to big data and its use in the presentation of statistics to supplement the existing official data.
