Oubound Tourism Statistics 2024

The publication of Outbound Tourism Statistics 2024 is an annual routine publication compiled and presented by BPS-Statistics Indonesia. The data presented in this publication are the results of data collection of Indonesian residents who travel abroad (national tourists), including the number of trips, travel characteristics, socio-economic characteristics, and expenditure characteristics. The data comes from various sources: the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections, the Outbound Tourism Digital Survey and Mobile Positioning Data (MPD). MPD is one of the development methods on data collection by utilizing information technology or big data for outbound tourism.
