Measuring Sustainable Development Goal Indicator 10.7.1 on The Recruitment Costs of Migrant Workers: Result of The Indonesia’s August 2023 National Labor Force Survey

This publication serves as the first report to measure Indonesia’s progress on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Indicator 10.7.1, which assesses the recruitment costs of migrant workers as a proportion of their monthly earnings in destination countries. Utilizing data from the 2023 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), this study provides a preliminary overview of the financial burdens faced by Indonesian migrant workers. The findings not only highlight the challenges encountered by migrant workers but also offer insights for formulating more effective, inclusive, and equitable policies.
