Labor Market Indicators Indonesia August 2024

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) for the 2024 period conducted semi-annually (February and August). This survey covers all regions of Indonesia and is expected to monitor employment dynamics regularly and continuously. Sakernas in February produces estimated figures up to the provincial level, while the Sakernas in August is able to present estimated figures up to the district/city level. This publication presents the development of labor market indicators (Key Indicators of the Labor Market -KILM) for August 2023, February 2024, and August 2024. The presented indicators refer to the 9th edition of KILM recommended by the ILO (International Labor Organization) in 2015, it can be used as a reference regarding labor market conditions in Indonesia. From the 17 (seventeen) KILM indicators, only 14 KILM indicators can be measured using Sakernas data. Several KILM indicators by province and supporting tables for KILM indicators are presented in the appendices of the publication.We express our appreciation and gratitude to all parties involved who have helped to prepare this publication.
