Abstract

One of the goals of the Indonesian government in the short, medium and long term is to improvethe welfare of its people. So data and statistical information are needed as a basis for makingpolicies to achieve this goal. The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) carried out by BPSaims to collect data on various aspects of fulfilling life’s needs such as clothing, food, shelter,education and health periodically. This data is a source for calculating various indicators, suchas poverty, income inequality and food security.
