ICT Development Index 2023

Information and Communication Technology-Development Index (IDI) was developed by International Telecommunication Union (ITU). IDI is a standard measure level of ICT development in an area that can be compared over time and between regions. In addition, IDI measures the growth of ICT development, digital gap between regions, and potential for ICT development. The 2024 is the ninth year BPS calculates IDI using the method published by ITU. IDI in 2023 reached 5.90, an increase compared to 2022 of 5.85 on a scale of 0-10.
