Profile of Micro and Small Industries 2023

The Micro and Small Industries (IMK) are predominantly labor-intensive enterprises that play a role in creating jobs and driving the economy at the local level. Various characteristics of micro and small industries are spread across all regions of Indonesia. With characteristics such as limited capital, the utilization of family labor, and a high ability to adapt to local market changes, these businesses have the potential to grow and develop. The 2023 Annual Micro and Small Industries Survey aims to provide a general overview of IMK businesses in Indonesia during 2023. This activity is conducted by collecting data from micro and small industrial enterprises/companies and recording information related to the dynamics of business continuity.
