Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, January 2024

In January 2024 the import value reached US$18,494.5 million, down US$612.6 million (3.21 percent) compared to the previous month. On the other hand, import volume also fell 14.64 percent to 17,241.9 thousand tons. The import value in January 2024 consists of oil and gas imports of US$2,698.3 million (14.59 percent) and non-oil and gas imports of US$15,796.2 million (85.41 percent) Imports in January 2024 were dominated by China at USD 5,957.7 million (32.21 percent), followed by Singapore at USD 1,599.4 million (8.65 percent), and Japan at USD 1,082.3 million (5.85 percent). The unloading port in DKI Jakarta Province is still the main unloading place for imported goods in Indonesia worth USD 8,071.3 million (43.64 percent).
